FireCore 1394b IP Core
FireCore is the unified IEEE1394b FPGA Core from DapTechnology. It combines the physical and Link layer requirements of a typical 1394 device in one package with new standards for transmission speeds. Initial releases are planned for S1600 and S3200, although both transmssion speeds have been successfully demonstrated at the Vision 2009 Show in Stuttgart Germany.
FireLink® LLC IP Core
FireLink® is a synthesizable IEEE1394b Link Layer Controller Core, currently available for Xilinx and soon for Altera FPGAs. DapTechnology offers two packages, i.e. Basic and Extended with different features and functions.
As a special option, the FireLink® LLC offers Firmware Support for the AS5643 (Mil1394) protocol. Typical examples of applications in aerospace & defense for the FireLink® would include command & control systems for space-based vehicles, missile platforms, and fighter aircraft, as well as its implementation in avionics & IFE platforms for business and commercial aircraft.
FireGate PHY IP Core
FireGate is the latest IEEE1394b FPGA Core from DapTechnology. It aims at the mounting need for faster PHY Layer speeds. Initial releases are planned for S1600 and S3200, although both transmssion speeds have been successfully demonstrated at the Vision 2009 Show in Stuttgart Germany.
FireStack® - 1394 Software Stack
FireStack® is DapTechnology’s homegrown 1394 software stack. Initially developed in conjunction with the company’s 1394 Link Layer Controller FireLink®, the product was architected from ground up in order to support the advanced features of the FireLink® IP (Basic and Extended) solution. Since then additional mechanisms have been added to FireStack® to enable support for generic OHCI compliant Link layers.
InvisiPHY® non-intrusive PHY IP Core
With InvisiPHY® DapTechnology offers a unique IP solution that enables 1394 devices with a non-intrusive listen capability of 1394b bus activity. The technology is easy to add to any standard 1394 interface and opens a whole new world of “stealth”-like bus monitoring capabilities!
